The Taylor Statten Camps are Canada's oldest fourth generational family-run traditional summer camps. We are located on Canoe Lake in Algonquin Provincial Park. Algonquin Park is the ideal setting for our canoe trips as its vast backcountry of maple hills, rocky ridges, spruce bogs, and thousands of lakes, ponds and streams can be thoroughly explored by our campers.
Nestled in beautiful Algonquin Park, Camp Ahmek for Boys (1921) and Camp Wapomeo for Girls (1924) have a unique brother-sister relationship grown from 90 years of shared history. We offer an unrivaled balance of out-trip and in-camp programming. Canoe Trips range from overnight to 50 days in length, and routes that explore much of northern Ontario and eastern Quebec. The camps share several facilities and the campers get together throughout the summer for special events and weekly activities.
