Taylor Statten Camps’ “Casual Reunion” in Toronto-May 23, 2015

You are invited join with many other TSC Alumni and current staff members gathering to take part in this year’s TSC reunion in Toronto and area. There are a number of daytime options and they can include younger family members.

First, the Taylor Statten Camping Bursary Fund (TSCBF) will be hosting its annual Hockey Tournament featuring some of the finest “old” boys being potentially humiliated by more skilled younger boys ( who are often current staff members). You are invited to watch and lunch at Upper Canada College and if you and your family so desire, have a free skate when the ice is not otherwise occupied. Details will be forthcoming on social media (Facebook) , but if you wish to make plans now to skate and/or have lunch , contact Julie Girvan at: jgirvan@rsgc.on.ca.

If you and/or your family wish to enjoy a day of mild activity, please arrange to join alumni and staff in the country. This year’s TSCAA Golfing/Hiking/Biking (GBHR) event is again being held at Heather Glen Golf Course and the area’s woods and roads. The golf course is a scenic 9 holes, challenging for experienced players but also fun for duffers. For “nongolfers”, David Taylor and Tom Hawks have again agreed to lead the “walk in the woods” and the “biking country roads” activities. Moreover, the now famous “Golden Ball Putting Contest” will again be a featured part of the event with great prizes. Lunch and more prizes (everyone wins) will follow. Please contact others to arrange mini-reunions and carpooling. The venue is about 45 minutes outside of Toronto. For more information and sign up, go to: http://www.eventbrite.ca/e/tsc-reunion-golfers-hikers-bikers-event-andor-scallywags-dinner-sign-up-tickets-15777546065

If dining and mingling with Camp friends is what you wish to do (hopefully in addition to the above), then dinner at Scallywags (optional) in Toronto at 7:30PM, followed by an informally gathering on this downtown pub’s rooftop, will surely be of interest to you (and your spouse). For your convenience, you can sign up for dinner on the Eventbrite link above.

Please share this information with others and make arrangement ASAP so we can plan for your participation and enjoyment. See you all there.
