IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
These rates are all inclusive (riding, most supplies for arts and crafts, laundry, etc.), except for transportation, special canoe trips, and items purchased at tuck. These rates are for all campers including brothers and sisters. All fees are payable at par in Toronto in CANADIAN FUNDS on or before April 1, 2008. A Deposit Fee of $650.00 ($900 for Quetico, Wabakimi and Bisco Trips) must accompany each application.
We are pleased to offer credit card payments through Visa and Mastercard. This is the preferred method of payment for our families outside Canada and the United States. We DO NOT recommend using bank transfers as we have had difficulties in receiving money in a timely fashion. We also accept payment in Canadian funds drawn on a Canadian bank, Canadian and US Travellers cheques and US personal cheques. Our exchange rate is set monthly by the business office. Please check with the office when writing cheques close to the end of the month. Do not send a cheque marked "PAYABLE IN CANADIAN FUNDS", as it is not negotiable at any Canadian bank.
All camper applications will be considered on a first come, first serve basis, depending on the availability of space. The process for assigning special trip requests (Quetico, Wabakimi, Bisco, Kipawa) will begin January 15, 2008. Applicants should be 7 to 16 years of age with the exception of the 15-Day and 12-Day enrollment, which is available on a limited basis for boys and girls who were born in years 1998 to 2001. The Tryout camp is only available to boys and girls who were born in years 2001 and 2002.
ENROLMENT AND FEES
The Camp Directors will try to fulfill the wishes of applicants with regard to the preferred session of enrollment. Most age groups, particularly the 10 to 12 year age groups, tend to fill up rapidly. For this reason, parents would assist the Directors, if, where either half session is acceptable, they would so indicate, giving a preference if desired. The Directors appreciate that changes in enrolment may sometimes be necessary and will consider individual requests. The following shall apply to all enrolments and fees:
1. A formal acceptance is mailed to the parents or guardians for each camper enrolled, upon receipt of an original signed application, camper health form and $650.00 ($900.00 for Quetico, Wabakimi and Bisco Canoe Trips) deposit fee.
2. The parents or guardians listed on the front of this application (referred to in this agreement as the parents) agree to pay the full fee by April 1, 2008 and to pay interest on all overdue fees at the rate of 24% per annum determined daily and calculated and payable monthly not in advance.
3. Any cancellation of enrolment must be in writing. No refunds shall be made except as follows:
a) if the application is withdrawn before its acceptance or if enrolment is cancelled on or before April 1, 2008, the fee deposit less a $150 administration will be refunded;
b) if enrolment is cancelled after April 1, 2008 but on or before May 15, 2008, the fee deposit will not be refunded but all other fees then paid will be refunded; and
c) if enrolment is cancelled after May 15, 2008, no amount will be refunded and any unpaid part of the full fee shall be payable.
4. Your camper's enrollment may, at the parents' request, be changed from the July session to the August session (or vice-versa), accommodations permitting, at any time upon payment of a $35.00 administration fee. If a Full Session enrolment is changed to the July or August session, or if a month session enrolment is changed to a two week session, or if the camper is re-enrolled after a previous cancellation, a $250.00 administration fee will be charged.
5. No fee refund will be made for campers arriving late or leaving early.
6. No refunds will be given to campers who are sent home due to any violation of the Taylor Statten Camps Code of Conduct, as determined by the Camp Directors.
