Ahmek Camper Sections

Bantam Section (ages 7 to 10)

The Bantam Section is comprised of campers aged 7-10 who are enrolled for 2 week sessions or our month session.  Any campers aged 7 and 8 who enroll for a month session may take part in two 2 week sessions.  Algonquin Park canoe trips are 1 to 3 nights (depending on the length of your campers stay with us).

Pioneer Section (ages 9 to 11)

Algonquin Park canoe trips are 5 days in length for month campers, 4 days in length for 15 day campers and 3 days in length for 12 day campers.

Mountaineer Section (ages 11 to 13)

Algonquin Park canoe trips are 7 days in length for month campers, 5 days in length for 15 day campers and 4 days in length for 12 day Campers.

Voyageur Section (ages 13 and 14)

Algonquin Park canoe trips are 9 days in length.

Senior Section (ages 15 and 16)

Algonquin Park canoe trips are 10 days in length.
