Wapomeo Camper Sections
Each camper at Wapomeo is placed in a cabin group with five other girls her own age for campers aged 6 – 12, or six other girls her own age for campers aged 13 – 16. Each cabin group is then placed in one of our five sections. Section groups are based on age and are designed to help your daughter grow her group of friends beyond her immediate cabin group. While campers rotate through their daily activities and go on canoe trip with their cabin group, evening activities are always done with entire section.

Kiowa Section (ages 7 to 10)
Algonquin Park canoe trips vary from an overnight for our 2 week campers, to 4 days in length for our 1 month campers.
Tuscie Section (ages 10 & 11)
Algonquin Park canoe trips are 5 days in length for month campers, 4 days in length for 15 day campers and 3 days in length for 12 day campers.
Shawnee Section (ages 11 & 12)
Algonquin Park canoe trips are 7 days in length for month campers, 5 nights in length for 15 day campers and 4 days in length for 12 day campers.
Ojib Section (ages 13 & 14)
Algonquin Park canoe trips are 8 days in length. Campers can also choose to do longer trips such as Kipawa and Temagami.
Nahanni Section (ages 14 to 16)
Canoe trips start at 10+ days in length and span Algonquin Park. Longer trips such as Kipawa, Quetico, Bisco travel in a variety of areas in Ontario and Quebec.
