Salutations from the Pioneer Section!
My name is Aidan Pontarini,
and I am proud to be the valiant leader of Ahmek’s 2012 pioneers. I too was but a small pioneer who fell in love with Ahmek back in 2003. Since then, my love for this place has only grown throughout long trips such as Kipawa, Quetico and Bisco. Now I am thrilled to have the opportunity to invest some of that passion back into the Pioneer Section.
When I am not experiencing the wonderment of Ahmek I am recreating it in photographs at Montreal’s Concordia University. The scenery we are surrounded by up here never ceases to be awe inspiring. I look forward to showing your sons the same sense of wonder.
