Camp Wapomeo is located on two islands in Canoe Lake – Main and Senior Island. The younger girls live in cabins set along the shoreline of the Main lsland, while the senior girls live in cabins and tents on the more rustic Senior Island.
Dining Hall: Our Dining Hall is not only home to all non-cookout meals, but also the vast history of Wapomeo canoe trips, and the various musical mealtime traditions.
The Wapomeo Main Lodge: Our brand new lodge, complete with indoor/outdoor stage, library, and professional sound system is the ideal setting for the many theatrical and musical performances.
The Flushies: Central washroom and shower facilities.
Watersport Facilities: An enclosed Swimming area, Canoeing docks, a Sailor’s Clubhouse, and a vast waterfront to enjoy!
Land Activity Facilities: Though campers participate in activities at the island’s own Pottery Shack, Weavery, and Low-Ropes course, they can also travel to the mainland to partake in the bountiful Landsport Facilities found there.
Infirmary: Fully supplied and staffed by a medical doctor and nursing students.
Cabins: rustic and well-maintained log cabins employed for comfortable summer accommodations.
The Tripping Room: Fully supplied outfitting facility for all Wapomeo canoe trips.
Stretching several kilometers along the beautiful eastern shoreline of Canoe Lake, both camps boasts unparalleled facilities- buildings, activity equipment and related structures (see Activities)- for camper enjoyment and comfort.
Dining Hall: More than 70 years old, our dining hall is the cornerstone of TSC’s great history, and home to all scrumptious non-cookout meals, musical & theatrical performances, dances, and the occasional sing-song.
Comfort Station (King Kybo): Our brand new shower and washroom facility with solar water heating technology.
Infirmary: Comfortable and quiet. Staffed by a Doctor and live-in Nurses and/or Nursing students
Riding Stables: Summer home to 20 or more horses in box stalls.
Cabins: Rustic and well-maintained log cabins employed for comfortable summer accommodations.
The Yurt (Le Rendez-Vous): An all purpose gathering spot, especially on rainy days.
Trading Post: We outfit all of our trips ourselves from this canoe tripping centre.
