So you’re registered, what’s next?

Campers have been coming to Camp Ahmek for boys and Camp Wapomeo for girls since the early 1920s.  Whether you’re a first-timer or an experienced camper, each summer at camp brings forward it’s own uniqueness that makes it exciting and full of new experiences. After you’ve registered for camp, the real fun can begin. If you’re a new camper, we recommend taking a look at our website, look at our camp activities, camp photos on our Facebook and Instagram pages and even checking out our videos on Youtube!

Camp encourages a sense of independence that can only happen away from home. Over the years, Wapomeo and Ahmek have welcomed new and returning campers who have created friendships that are unlike any other. Like they say, ‘Camp friends are forever friends’. The Taylor Statten Camps have both camps located on Canoe Lake.

Camp Ahmek for boys is located on the mainland of Canoe Lake, while Camp Wapomeo for girls is spread over two islands in the middle of the lake; approximately a kilometre and a half away from the mainland. Every session includes the in camp activities and a canoe trip adventure. Canoe trip length depends on camper age, session length and camper section. With TSC’s traditional camp lifestyle and back-to-basics mentality, Ahmek and Wapomeo’s life is an enjoyable and comfortable atmosphere for all. So let the countdown begin and get excited for the adventure of a lifetime! Don’t forget to check out everything camp in our camp guide!
