Ropes Course Instructor & Assistant Ropes Course Instructor

Job description:

High Ropes and The Climbing Wall are used by both Ahmek and Wapomeo campers, although the site for this program is at Ahmek.  The Head of High Ropes and Climbing  Wall and the Assistant live at Ahmek.  We require a Challenge Course Participant Level II with rescue certification or equivalent. First Aid and CPR “B”.

There is also a number of low ropes elements that require an Instructor. Located at the High Ropes course the Low Ropes elements need an instructor with excellent facilitation skills.

All Challenge Ropes Course staff must adhere to the Technical Training Standards of the Association for Challenge Course Technology (A.C.C.T)

We currently have one (1) opening for Ropes Course Instructor, one (1) opening for Assistant Ropes Course Instructor and one (1) opening for Low Ropes Course Instructor.

Compensation varies depending on the position and experience.  All positions include room, board, laundry and use of facilities.

Location: The Taylor Statten Camps, Canoe Lake, Algonquin Park, Ontario.

Dates: From June 17th, 2012 to August 24th, 2012 inclusive.
