Senior Island Waterfront

Job description:

Senior Island is a different island from Main Island at Wapomeo.  It’s where the Senior Island campers sleep and swim and do some of their canoeing lessons.  There is a separate waterfront for Senior Island and the person in this position is responsible for planning and implementing effective swim programs and safe waterfront practices including facilitating emergency water searches if necessary.  A current National Lifeguard Service  (NLS), Emergency First Aid, CPR “C” and a Life Saving Society Instructors certifications are required. Examiners is an asset as many of the courses taught are at the Bronze level and above. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age or older.

We currently have one (1) opening for a Senior Island Waterfront.

Compensation varies depending on the position and experience.  All positions include room, board, laundry and use of facilities.

We also require two reference forms to be filled out by employers, teachers or similar references.

Location: The Taylor Statten Camps, Canoe Lake, Algonquin Park, Ontario.

Dates:  From June 17th, 2012 to August 24th, 2012 inclusive.
