What’s new with TSC?
Hey TSC! We hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving and that it was filled with good food, loved ones and outdoor activities. Although the summer has come to an end, you can be rest assured that we are already preparing for our 2017 season, both here in the Toronto office and up North, in Algonquin Park.
What’s the 411?
In Algonquin, the Ahmek canoe dock has been dismantled and construction has begun on a brand new one! Many thanks to Dave, Lorne, Leon and the fall crew for their hard work and dedication to the canoe dock project. In addition, the Bantam section has also experienced a makeover, with brand new cabins already taking shape, and restoration on the green war canoe has commenced. We cannot wait to see the final products next Spring!
In the Toronto office, we are working on the final touches of the BRAND NEW camp application! This season welcomes an updated, modern, faster, easier to use and more efficient application. Users can look forward to an outline of charges, to ensure correct choice of session and transportation, as well as a sleeker look and the ability to make payments at any time. This means you will no longer have to call the office to make a payment, but rather you can log in to your account and make the payment yourself. This goes for session fees, transportation fees, tuck shop charges and airport charges. Please note that if a balance still remains on your account on April 1st 2017, the camp will process the payment automatically as it is the due date for all session fees. When can you use this amazing new application? Registration opens on NOVEMBER 7TH 2016. A friendly reminder to all those interested in a special trip or long trip, please ensure that your application is in before the new year! We will begin the cabinizing process for these trips right after the winter holiday break.

Every Novemeber, the Taylor Statten Camping Bursary Fund hosts an incredible night of good food, great company, and beautiful art in downtown Toronto. We will be there so we hope you will be too! Proceeds from art and ticket sales will go to the Bursary and help send deserving kids to summer camp around Ontario.
