Celebrating 100 Years – Survey
In July 2021, it will be 100 years since Taylor Statten opened Camp Ahmek. Taylor Statten’s camping vision was completed with the opening of Camp Wapomeo under Ethel Statten in 1924. And 2020 will be the 100th season of the Taylor Statten Camps. The Taylor Statten Camps are starting to think about how to celebrate this remarkable anniversary.
A Centennial Steering Committee of Camp directors and alumni started up a year ago, and has now decided that there will be two big reunion events: one at Canoe Lake during September Camp 2020, and the other in Toronto in September 2021.
Now the Committee needs to start making key decisions, particularly about the Toronto reunion.
All options remain open, and we need and will be guided by your input. The more we know about what’s important to you, the better we can plan these events, to be fun and memorable for all.We have set up a survey in order to gain insight into your preferences for the events!.
Please find the link below to take part in the survey. It will take approximately 5 minutes to complete. While the reunions will be targeted to camper and staff alumni, all are welcome to provide their input.
